The Best Things in Life Are Rescued

I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful year it's been with my sweet rescue dog, Charlotte (previously named Justine). She is an 8-year-old chocolate lab that I adopted last March. I'd love it if you could also let her foster mom know how she's doing. Attached are two photos of both dogs. Cliff, the yellow lab, is an 8-year-old special needs rescue from the Max Fund. They get along famously. Charlotte also loves my 14-year-old cat, Macy. It took a little while but Charlotte now loves all of the attention, the daily walks and the playing in the backyard with Cliff. I am planning her first trip to an off-leash dog park this month. She is truly one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. And, the best thing, I got her specifically to try to help Cliff. He has epilepsy and my vet said another dog might lessen his anxiety and therefore lessen the amount of seizures. I am happy to report that he has not had a single seizure since last April.

So, thank you for all you do! And, thanks for Charlotte!
